Board of Directors

Our Board is comprised of JLBP property owners. The Board has diverse experiences in business, community, and charitable services across an array of industries. Located on the Jordan Lake watershed, the Board works together with a focus and a commitment to the environmental and health impacts inherent to the responsibility of being one of two commercial buildings permitted to sit directly lakeside. The building and the unique features, such as the state’s first reclaimed water system, provide impactful educational and commercial opportunities with long term viability and nature based solutions that will guide generations to come. The Board remains steadfast as stewards of protection of the environment for property owners and the community at large.

Advisor to the Board

Dr. Halford House, Bioremediation Resource Recovery Systems LLC

Dr. House’s vision and creation of North Carolina’s first integrated water system has enabled the rebirth of occupancy at and care of our building. He has been a highly regarded professor at multiple universities, including North Carolina State. His pioneering work has been the subject of studies by the University of Chapel Hill and his model for water integration remains revolutionary. The building remains a tour stop for local colleges and passionate environmentalists due to Dr. House’s work.
